The Middle Mile Transportation Technology organization builds complex software solutions that work across our vendors warehouses and carriers to optimize moving freight across our network to create a positive customer experience. Within Middle Mile Amazon Freight Partner is a new program that enables entrepreneurs to start and grow their trucking business alongside Amazon with exclusive training ability to hire from their local communities and longterm growth potential. The Amazon Freight Partner team is seeking candidates with entrepreneurial spirit who are quick learners and comfortable operating in a fastpaced environment.
You should be detail oriented and possess expertise in both qualitative and quantitative analysis with a passion for delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders. You know and love working with business intelligence tools (excel visualization tools and SQL) and can partner with business leaders to deepdive complex business problems. You are analytical organized curious and work backwards from the business problem.
Key functions include:
Own the design development and maintenance of ongoing and adhoc metrics reports and analyses to drive key business decisions
Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
Define the data elements to enable analytical and reporting capabilities and work crossfunctionally with other stakeholder teams when needed
Design and influence operational best practices for reporting and analytics to enable the team to scale as we grow
Proven problem solving skills project management skills attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
Participate in strategic & tactical planning discussion
Communicate complex insights to stakeholders both verbally and in writing
Experiment with AI to enable better data selfserve
3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
5 years of Excel (including VBA pivot tables array functions power pivots etc. and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
3 years of business or financial analysis experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
Experience with Excel
Experience with SQL
Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
Masters degree in finance accounting business economics engineering analytics mathematics statistics or a related technical or quantitative field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
