Purchasing & Planning Manager
Salary: Negotiable
Location: Hailsham
Hours: Full Time MonFri
Start Date: ASAP

Syntech Recruitment are working with this highend client who are looking to add to their team and recruit for a Purchasing and Planning Manager. They are looking for a Purchasing professional who has demonstrated a management track record in delivering value within a manufacturing environment

Purchasing & Planning Manager Responsibilities:
- Maintain and own the master schedule in line with customer requirements including planning of work centres raw material and subcontract operations.
- Matching customer requirements with factory and supply chain capacity and identifying bottlenecks / requirements for new capacity well in advance of requirement.
- Develop a supply chain capable of delivering to the master schedule with outstanding quality and ontime delivery and leadtime performance including managing supplier scorecards.
- Negotiate longterm supply agreements with suppliers as appropriate to protect against price escalation and ensure security of supply.
- Develop and deliver strategic procurement initiatives to drive yearonyear price improvement in the supply chain.
Requirements:
- Five years experience in a Procurement and Master Production Scheduling roles
- Experience with using MRP systems within a manufacturing environment
- Team Management skills
- Ability to respond quickly to requirements and prioritisingeffectively
- Attention to detail
- 3 years plus Buying experience
- 5 years planning and management experience
