The Safe and Respectful Communities Team (SARC) is responsible for leading the Universitys work to prevent student related sexual and harassment from occurring on our campuses and for providing coordinated responses and support if it does happen.
About the position
This role is responsible for coordinating the intake and triage services at the Safe and Respectful Communities (SARC) team supporting students who have experienced violence abuse or harassment. Acting as the first point of contact the role involves conducting intake processes assessing risk and safety deescalating situations and ensuring appropriate traumainformed support is provided. It also includes liaising with SARC Coordinators to allocate cases and arranging urgent appointments with counselling or security services when necessary.
This role also supports the broader SARC team with administrative duties such as preparing resources maintaining accurate records and data entry and assisting with general admin and projectrelated tasks.
