Job Description

Performs a wide variety of activities which may include both direct patient care as well as office functions depending on the size of the assigned area. Direct patient care may include working with patients inperson and over the phone and completing tasks involving the use of assessment planning intervention and evaluation skills. All patient care is provided under the direct supervision of the physician and/or midlevel provider. Drug Alcohol Technicians may also engage in reception activities greeting and assisting patients and visitors and help complete the business side of a patient visit.

Education Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience Qualifications
  • 1 year of customer service experience is required.
Certifications Licenses and Registrations
  • Certification as an urine DOT substance testing collector within 90 days of employment is required.
  • Certification as a breathe DOT substance testing collector within 90 days of employment is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of employment is required.
