JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and oncampus related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process. This is a limited term position funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of refunding.
The position will be supervised by Dr. Jennifer Weld in the Ecosystem Science and Management Department.
Education and Experience:
This position will be filled as an Education Program Specialist at the level of Intermediate Professional or Advanced Professional depending on the final applicants experience and education. The Intermediate Professional level requires a minimum of a bachelors degree (masters preferred) with 1 or more years of relevant professional experience in Animal Science Plant Science Soil Science Agronomy Agricultural Engineering Agroecology Agricultural Education Extension Education or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional education and/or experience are required for higherlevel positions.
This position requires candidates to have experience in nutrient management planning soil conservation farm management manure management or GIS analysis. Demonstrated skills in project administration public speaking written communication and Microsoft applications including Word PowerPoint and Excel are needed. This position requires motor vehicle operation as a part of the job duties. A valid drivers license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.

The salary range for this position including all possible grades is:
