Job Description
Shawsheen Valley Technical High School is seeking an English Language Development Instructor for theschool year. Candidates must possess an English as a Second Language 512 license (or equivalent) from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education. Candidates should also have prior experience working with EL students preferably in a vocational/technical high school setting. Preferred qualifications/experience: Proven track record working with atrisk student populationsCrosscurricular program designAbility to analyze and utilize relevant data to drive decisions and maintain detailed student records Collaboration with teachers from various departmentsFamiliarity with state mandated MCAS and ACCESS testing procedureDual licensure in either English or Special EducationSpanish and/or Portuguese fluencyInternational living/teaching experience.
