Your role
Generate draft and final bills and other billingrelated processes in collaboration with our lawyers and our secretaries
Administrate billing terms and administration flows for each new matter/client on introduction and bill presentation details to ensure an accurate billing process
Provide a complete and detailed overview of the pending draft bills that cannot be finalised before monthend including the reasons and estimated billing date
Dealing with enquiries and queries and providing a first point of contact for people across the practice areas
Assist the Matter Managers with the setup and maintenance of matters in the system: creation and overview of matter openings and closures validation of the new matter forms submitted creation of new office segments
Maintain up to date SOPs to reflect Local Office requirements
Perform quality control checks to ensure consistent quality of work
Be responsible for assigned KPIs to meet internal customer needs
Participate in regular process reviews with Local Finance Team
Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and compliance with the Solicitors Accounting Rules
Your experience
At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role preferably within SSC/BPO sector
Practical experience in SAP would be a value added
Strong knowledge of MS Office
Professional proficiency in English
French would be a value added
Customer focused and service oriented
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and manage conflicting priorities
Strong teamwork ethic communication skills and respect for confidentiality
University degree in finance or professional accounting course would be an asset
