Our goal is to be the first choice for families seeking an educational experience where every student is challenged supported and inspired to own their journey to mastery and independence in a community where they are truly known and valued.Position Summary Bancroft School seeks a Lower School Early Years Classroom Teacher who will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for students. This role will plan and deliver instructional lessons that align with the curriculum assess student progress communicate with parents/guardians and collaborate with colleagues to ensure the academic and socioemotional development of each student.

• Plan and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the educational needs of lower elementary aged students.
• Develop and deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies resources and technologies to enhance student learning experiences.
• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments and use data to inform instructional decisions.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and development.
• Maintain accurate and uptodate records of student attendance academic performance and behavioral incidents.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress behavior and any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with colleagues administrators and support staff to coordinate instruction share best practices and promote a positive school culture.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends research and best practices.
• Adhere to school policies procedures and expectations including those related to classroom management safety and confidentiality.
• Serve as a positive role model for students demonstrating professionalism integrity and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; Masters degree preferred.
• Valid teaching license or certification appropriate for the grade level and subject area preferred.
• Prior experience teaching at the lower elementary level.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development educational theory and best practices in instruction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive relationships with students parents/guardians and colleagues.
• Proficiency in integrating technology into instruction and classroom management.
• Commitment to fostering a safe supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
