The role is responsible to ensure the strict quality compliance is maintained with the goal of Zerodefect components meeting the delivery targets.
Responsibilities:
1 Collaborate closely with the design and manufacturing teams to gain insights into the requirements for raw materials inprocess quality standards and product testing protocols.
2 Conduct inspections of composite and metallic components including tooling during the manufacturing process.
3 Create and manage quality documentation such as dimensional inspection reports process log sheets inprocess checklists nondestructive testing reports and test reports.
4 Oversee the qualification and acceptance of raw materials fasteners and seals.
5 Visit vendor and supplier locations to perform inspections according to established plans.
6 Evaluate components tools fixtures and the assembly and integration of mechanical systems.
7 Initiate maintain and ensure the resolution of nonconformance reports as well as prepare first article inspections for components.
8 Document followups and lessons learned to support continuous improvement efforts aimed at achieving zero defects
Skills required:
Technical Skills:
1 Served as a Quality Control professional in the composite manufacturing and assembly processes for composite structures.
2 Possesses a minimum of three years of experience in a quality control role within the Aerospace sectors.
3 Knowledgeable in NonDestructive Testing (NDT) methods including Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT).
4 Wellversed in raw material testing standards such as ASTM and ISO applicable to both metallic and composite materials.
5 Familiarity with quality acceptance criteria for aerospacegrade fasteners and seals is preferred.
6 Experienced in handling prepreg materials composites sandwich and assembly of sandwich composites.
7 Practical experience in identifying and interpreting flaws in both composite and metallic materials is advantageous.
Qualification:
Essential:
Diploma with min 3 years of experience in aerospace sector.
Preferable: Minimum 65 of aggregate in engineering
