Job Description
CITY OF STAUNTON
Firefighters/EMTs: PartTime
The City of Staunton Fire and Rescue Department is currently accepting applications for parttime Firefighters/EMTs to work on an asneeded substitute basis. Successful candidateis responsible for fire suppression prevention and inspection duties as well as emergency medical service. Position requires HS diploma/GED and current minimum certification as Firefighter II and EMT. Must have passing written and physical ability scores on regional firefighter test or equivalent. Certification in Advanced Life Support and DPO/Aerial Ops are highly desired. Must be able to provide copies of current certifications and the written/physical ability test certificate upon request. Starting parttime pay $18.68/hour depending on EMT certification:
EMTB $18.68
EMTA $19.94
EMTI/P $21.56
