The Opportunity

Join the Communications and Marketing Team as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator and play an important role in strengthening our brand equity promoting key programs and services and amplifying engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

You will work across our 6 IPC Health campuses in Sunshine Deer Park St Albans Wyndham Vale Hoppers Crossing and Altona Meadows. The majority of time in the office will be spent at our Sunshine and Deer Park campuses with (on average) at least two days a week working from home (generally Mondays and Fridays).

  • Part Time opportunity 0.8 FTE 4 days per week) Fixed Term until 30 Jan 2026 (Long Service Leave replacement).
  • Start as soon as youre available; at the latest 1 June 2025.
  • 0.8 FTE pro rata salary is equivalent to $82393 annually (based on $52.12 per hour) 11.5 super salary packaging benefits
  • Classified Grade HS5 under the Health and Allied Services Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian StandAlone Community Health Services (Multi Employer) Enterprise Agreement.

The types of projects youll work on might include:

  • Write client case studies for our website or funder presentations and supervise a photo to align with content youve written for the Annual Report
  • Draft the CEOs newsletter and Town Hall talking points
  • Update an intranet SharePoint page to promote internal program referrals
  • Prepare a media release for the launch of a new program location and sending out via Meltwater; liaising with journalists to ensure media coverage aligns with key messages
  • Create social media content in Canva recruiting new clients for our services; schedule and post via Hootsuite; evaluate ROI and summarise results for the Board report
  • Prepare a PowerPoint presentation on a programs quarterly Comms Plan; present to internal clients; implement across owned earned and paid channels
  • Use PowerBI and Excel to analyse internal client data and ABS data to derive insights for a campaign brief

To effectively complete this diverse range of projects will require relevant experience and technical skills but more importantly the ability to manage competing priorities and a cando problemsolving attitude. You may not have previously undertaken every type of project in this role but because you have a proven track record of going above and beyond youll see every challenge as an opportunity to have a go and explore whats possible. Youll work with a fun and collaborative team who are committed to growth and innovation.

To be successful in this role:

  • A passion for building brands creating content and implementing strategic multichannel marketing communications campaigns; enthusiasm; a desire to learn grow and continuously improve
  • Tertiary degree in Marketing Communications Advertising or Business
  • 7 years experience in marketing / communications roles with at least 2 years in a role with similar responsibilities
  • Notforprofit experience is valuable but not essential
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
