A confidential advanced manufacturing firm is seeking a Materials Management & Supply Chain Manager to lead sourcing procurement inventory and kitting operations. This is a highimpact role where your decisions will directly support the delivery of cuttingedge industrial technologies used across global markets.
This vertically integrated technology company develops and manufactures complex systems for highprecision industries across 20 sectors and 38 countries. As demand increases the company is scaling its operations which requires a strong leader to optimize material flow procurement and vendor strategy.
Youll be at the center of operational excellencemanaging physical resources from sourcing to delivery on the production floor. Your leadership will be essential in aligning vendor performance inventory control and ERP system accuracy with the companys aggressive growth and production goals.
Develop and execute forwardthinking procurement strategies aligned with production needs
Lead sourcing efforts including supplier selection price negotiation and contract management
Track and analyze procurement KPIs to reduce costs improve delivery timelines and increase reliability
Oversee receiving inventory control stocking kitting and delivery operations
Ensure realtime ERP accuracy and alignment with finance and production requirements
Manage a team of buyers and inventory specialists with a focus on performance accountability and crossfunctional collaboration
Continuously assess supply chain risks and mitigate material shortages or delays
Maintain minimum inventory levels while ensuring ontime parts availability for production
Build and nurture vendor relationships to support justintime delivery and quality control
Analyze make vs. buy decisions to support strategic sourcing
Write and issue purchase orders and track them through to successful timely delivery
Audit inventory reconcile discrepancies and drive process improvements in warehousing and logistics
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Logistics Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven track record in supply chain procurement or materials management in a manufacturing environment
Strong ERP system proficiency and datadriven decisionmaking skills
Excellent negotiation communication and vendor management skills
Experience leading teams and implementing process improvements
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fastmoving highgrowth operation
A proactive solutionsoriented mindset with exceptional attention to detail
U.S. Citizenship (required)
Organized and detaildriven but also able to think strategically
Someone who enjoys streamlining processes solving realworld logistics challenges and driving performance
Comfortable managing supplier relationships while advocating for cost quality and delivery excellence
Passionate about building scalable systems in a technologyfirst handson environment
