Role Overview
As an MLOps Engineer at Promise youll be at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning into our mission of transforming the way individuals facing financial difficulty receive and interact with essential public services. Your primary responsibility will be to design develop test and manage endtoend generative AI and large language model (LLM) applications and services for both internal and external products. This will include creating and managing complex AI systems integrating LLMs realtime systems APIs and agentic workflows in a robust scalable and powerful manner. Your expertise in AI technologies will drive innovation efficiency and automation across our platform.

What Will Enable You
A minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience.

Experience with Python especially for asynchronous applications.
Expertise with LLMOps general MLOps or other closely related AI specializations especially experience with testing and maintaining production LLM applications and with selfhosting ML models.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (Terraform Pulumi).
Experience with scalable containerized solutions (Kubernetes GKE ECS Docker).
Strong proficiency in systems architecture.
