This position is to support the Senior Compliance Manager in driving the Councils success in meeting its statutory health and safety obligations as a responsibly landlord whilst continuously striving to improve the safety of its residents properties compliance and stock condition.
As a leader of a small professional team delivering a technical fire safety service your role will be pivotal in providing senior management with assurance that the assessment and effective management of fire related risks within its residential stock is being effectively managed.
You will be expected to ensure and assure robust programs and plans with effective monitoring and management of your team and specialist contractors. These programmes and plans will be based on accurate stock data and information with key performance indicators tailored to deliver results for all parties.
This position plays a crucial role in the delivery of fire risk assessments and the management of remedial tasks and recommendations. You will ensure the quality of works and materials used whilst assigning monitoring and authorising the closure process. This will require quality data and evidence to support all related activities that demonstrates an acceptable level of compliance.
Your role will be to keep the Council at the forefront of industry standards by delivering a highquality asset management service and contributing to a culture of trust by creating a working environment that is supportive and high performing.
