Dedicated to creating experiences that amaze both our guests and team members Stanleys Bar & Grill at the Stanley Park Pavilion is looking for a handson energetic bartender to join our team.

As a banquet Bartender you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Youll be responsible for crafting highquality cocktails quickly and consistently engaging with guests and keeping the bar running smoothly during events. The ideal candidate is skilled in mixology thrives in a fastpaced environment and has a strong knowledge of spirits beer and wine while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain glassware and cutlery
- Keep bar storage areas organized and stocked with supplies
- Maintain clean and tidy workstations including floors counters etc.
- Maintain a positive teamoriented work environment
- Work quickly and efficiently in very high paced events and weddings
- Recommend drinks based on customer preferences and food pairings
- Process transactions handle cash and ensure accurate billing
- Follow responsible alcohol service laws.
- Follow all HAACP and Food Safe requirements
- Follow all procedures outlined in the Team Member Handbook
- Be knowledgeable and promote the Capilano Group of Companies.
- Promote a safe work environment paying particular attention to food and drink safety
- Take reasonable care to protect your own coworkers and Guests health and safety
- Be alert to hazards and immediately report hazards defective equipmentor concerns to your supervisor.
- Ensure your ability to work without risk to your health and safety or any other persons safety is not impaired by alcohol or other causes
Qualifications:
- One 1 year of bartending experience
- Must have current Serving It Right certificate
- Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment with the ability to multitask
- Ability to manage challenging or highstress scenarios effectively
- POS knowledge an asset
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to provide experiences Guests are amazed by
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business
- Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20lbs climb a step ladder or climb a step stool
Wage for this position is $20.85 per hour.
