Job Description
Were seeking a Treatment Nurse LVN or RN to join our growing team! Reliability trustworthiness and consistency with regard to attendance is extremely important to this job. Responsibilities:
- Perform dressing changes and wound care.
- Responsible for monitoring/followup of all ulcers and incisions with appropriate documentation and communication to physician and family.
- Assess Weekly nutrition/hydration of residents with all ulcers and incisions evaluate and initiate additional nutritional intake as required.
- Monitor lab reports for incidence of infection in assigned wounds. Evaluate causative factors/problems and solutions and communicate same to nursing staff management.
- Augment floor staffing if needed
Requirements:
- Licensed Nurse in good standing with state agency.
- Excellent technical assessment and documentation skills leadership qualities and good communication skills.
