Job Description

About the department:

The Marketing Department within BYD Spain is responsible for developing and implementing tailored marketing strategies specific to drive Spain performance and deliver results that drive business objectives. Our team works collaboratively to optimize brand visibility increase market share and drive business growth within the European market.

Key objectives and responsibilities:

  • Deliver social media plans for Spain marketing team
  • Optimise and report on all campaigns sharing results with wider team
  • Work with creative team to ensure best practice creative is used
  • Assist with quarterly and annual planning of marketing budgets

Key results:

  • Web traffic and leads driven by media campaigns
  • Increasing engagement and performance of social media campaigns
  • Improving brand awareness and image of BYD in Spain

The Person:

We are looking for a Paid Social Specialist to lead the strategic and tactical of the paid social campaigns. You will ensure the paid social media strategy is executed implementation and optimization goals are achieved and clients targets are met as efficiently as possible. Campaigns will be a mix of branding and direct response. You will work with partners including Meta LinkedIn and TikTok.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with data and have very strong attention to detail. They will be a team player who is keen to learn and is results driven. They will be ready to take responsibility for the effective implementation of activity within their accounts and be eager to share their knowledge with the wider team and be an effective mentor and role model to their team. The dynamic and fastpaced nature of Paid Social demands a mix of creative and analytical skills to drive results. We are looking for candidates with prior experience in paid social.

Your profile:

  1. University Degree in Marketing Sales or commercial disciplines.
  2. Effective and fluent communicator in English and Spanish
  3. Excellent Microsoft office skills.
  4. Experience in social media planning and of 360 campaigns.
  5. Understanding of media market and key media owners Meta and TikTok.
  6. Knowledge of current digital media landscape and ability to optimize performance campaigns.
  7. Customeroriented mindset.
  8. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  9. Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.
  10. Resilient and open minded.
  11. Results oriented. Ability to work to deadlines hands on approach motivated to get results.
