Are you looking for an opportunity to work with a supportive and collaborative team Join the Office of the Registrar at Washington State University where you will foster a positive and engaging work environment dedicated to serving students faculty and staff. In this role you will have the chance to learn and grow within a higher education setting developing your skills in record management customer service and communication. You will contribute to the institutions success and be a vital member of the professional management team.
As an AdministrativeProfessional (AP) in the Office of the Registrar you will manage all aspects of the comprehensive academic catalog ensuring its accuracy and compliance with university policies accreditation standards and state regulations for all undergraduate and professional degree programs. You will act as Secretary for the Academic Affairs Committee and the Professional Health Sciences Committee coordinating with the Committee Chair. Your responsibilities will include organizing and structuring academic programs within the catalog and the student information system.
You will collaborate with various technology units and personnel to develop maintain and upgrade systems processes reports websites and electronic forms related to catalog production and maintenance. Additionally you will serve as a member of various university committees contributing your expertise and insights.
The Pullman Office of the Registrar offers a hybrid working environment to all of its employees. We recognize the benefits of both working remote as well as engaging with our constituents in person. This position is a local Pullman position with an option for a partial remote schedule. The successful candidate will need to meet WSUs technical system requirements for working remotely and will be required to sign a telework agreement.

This is a fulltime 100 FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $5000 $5166 Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Positions require a Bachelors degree and three 3 years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. Experience leading or directing the work of others. A Masters degree in a related field may substitute for one 1 year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a yearforyear basis.
Demonstrated computer skills that include desktop applications and database management.
Demonstrated leadership organizational and management skills including priority setting and managing details.
Demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally communicate complicated concepts both orally and in writing to a variety of diverse populations.
Demonstrated ability to work individually and as a member of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Successful work experience in a Registrars Office and/or in higher education.
Experience with student information systems SIS specifically Oracle PeopleSoft.
Experience in monitoring and enforcing rules and regulations.
