Job Description

Role: Unit Manager HR
Location: London UK


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geo HR Specialist to oversee and support HRrelated activities in the UK. The HR Manager will be responsible for design and institutionalization of HR processes and making sure all local HR compliance is achieved.
Role and responsibilities
  • Actively contribute to the design development local implementation and coordination of HR strategies policies and operations in partnership with business unit and regional leadership
  • Evaluate challenges in the business and propose solutions to regional and corporate leadership
  • Work closely with leadership line managers and employees to support business needs.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters including disciplinary actions grievances performance management and workplace investigations.
  • Ensure company policies and HR practices comply with UK employment laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and proactively implement necessary updates.
  • Support audits legal cases and compliancerelated matters collaborating with legal teams when required.
  • Design employee engagement practices to create a positive work environment
  • Recommend and deliver local solutions covering multiple areas of human resources including employee onboarding local benefits training employee / labour relations or other services.
  • Effectively partner with Central HR Functions such as compensation recruiting payroll organizational effectiveness etc.
Required
  • Bachelors/masters degree in human resources or business management or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
  • 10 years of HR experience in UK ideally in an international matrix environment with experience in Employee relations UK employment law Compensation & Benefits HR compliance and administration.
  • Proven experience in handling complex ER cases grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent problemsolving communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment with a high degree of professionalism
