Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic strategic leader responsible for shaping and driving the organizations technology vision and strategy. The Technology Strategist will lead the development and of key technological initiatives ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy and objectives. This individual will be a thought leader providing insights and recommendations to guide technology investments partnerships and innovation.

This role demands a visionary who can effectively translate complex technical concepts into engaging narratives and actionable strategies. The ideal candidate excels at blending technology strategy with outstanding communication skills creative storytelling and executive presentation expertise enabling them to deliver compelling presentations that resonate with diverse audiences and drive business success at the executive level.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of current technological trends and their business implications complemented by proficiency in data visualization tools and presentation software such as PowerPoint and Prezi. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential enabling the candidate to simplify complex ideas and create engaging content across various platforms including blogs social media and reports. With a talent for creative storytelling the candidate will have the ability to weave narratives that resonate with audiences and drive engagement utilizing storytelling techniques to effectively present data and insights. Demonstrating presentation expertise the candidate will have a proven ability to design and deliver impactful presentations that captivate and inform alongside strong public speaking skills and experience in facilitating discussions and Q&A sessions. Excellent interpersonal skills will allow for effective collaboration across crossfunctional teams while strong listening skills will help understand audience needs and tailor messages accordingly. The candidate will also exhibit critical and strategic thinking abilities to address challenges and identify opportunities showcasing adaptability in a fastpaced environment and the capacity to adjust to changing priorities. A portfolio showcasing previous work in technology strategy communication storytelling and presentations is highly desirable further highlighting the candidates qualifications for this role.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT leadership to enhance technology strategies by utilizing intuitive frameworks ensuring alignment with business goals simplifying the communication of value and crafting messages that resonate with nontechnical audiences.

• Advises general management on the internal and external business environment including regulatory changes technological advancements and market dynamics to proactively identify strategic opportunities and challenges.

• Communicates with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives ensuring effective coordination communication and across the organization.

• Provides leadership and guidance in the development of business cases financial models and performance metrics to evaluate and measure the success of strategic initiatives.

• Delivers the organizations strategic direction and progress to the executive team and key stakeholders ensuring alignment transparency and accountability throughout the organization.

• Directs process to conduct indepth market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends opportunities and potential risks providing insights and recommendations to guide strategic decisionmaking.

• Conducts complex analyses and reports on member communications for executivelevel and senior management stakeholders and senior individual contributors.

• Oversee the creation and delivery of all strategy presentations for executive meetings within IT: develop compelling storyboards streamline messaging curate relevant content and design impactful presentations.

Required Qualifications

• 10 years in technology strategy & communication or a related role.

• Proven track record in developing and executing technology strategies that drive business growth with a strong understanding of business operations financial management and market dynamics.

• Mastery of problemsolving and decisionmaking skills complemented by strong business intelligence capabilities and adeptness in planning delivering and supporting strategic initiatives.

• Proven leadership experience in influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization driving alignment on key priorities and fostering collaboration and teamwork.

• Extensive experience in crafting and delivering highstakes presentations to executivelevel audiences showcasing exceptional written and verbal communication skills that emphasize clarity persuasion and brevity.

• Strong narrativebuilding skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling stories that resonate with executive leaders.

• Demonstrated growth mindset showcasing agility in personal and professional development for oneself and others.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

• Health Care Industry domain knowledge

Education
Bachelors degree in Technology Communications Marketing or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual fulltime salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience education geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus commission or shortterm incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the companys equity award program.
