The Host/Hostess job opportunity is a temporary fulltime position. The start date is October 1 2025 with May 31 2026 as the end date.
Duties include:
Greets and seats guests presents menus to guests informs them of special catch and soups of the day.
Accommodate all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests expectations.
Takes guests names and puts on a waiting list.
In charge of running the floor plan board.
Observes tables and keeps track of clean dirty and occupied tables.
Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
Keeps host area clean organized and stocked with menus.
Answers phone and answers guest questions regarding the menu and restaurant.
Interacts with guests as they arrive and leave the restaurant to ensure they have had a positive dining experience.
Fills togo orders if applicable.
Maintains restrooms throughout the shift.
Sweeps foyer and front entrance area frequently.
Performs other duties as directed.
Typical shifts are 7:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. 8:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. 9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. 1:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday. The specific days and hours of work will vary depending on scheduling and business level. Must be able to work all shifts. The business is open seven days per week weekends and holidays required. Overtime may be available. On the job training is not provided.
