Job Description

Carlisle Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our school health team beginning August 25 2025. The ideal candidate will provide highquality primary and emergency health care to students working under the supervision of the School Nurse Principal and Director of Student position involves both direct and indirect nursing care health maintenance education and socialemotional supportwhile contributing to a safe and healthy learning environment. This is a 35 hour per week position during school days. Key Responsibilities: The LPN will work collaboratively with our school RN with the following responsibilities:Provide nursing care based on student and staff needs in accordance with Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing all health policies of the district MA Department of Public Health and with the management of chronic health needs (e.g. diabetes asthma allergies).Administer medication in compliance with 105 CMR first aid and emergency care for illness or families of illness/injuries occurring during school accurate and confidential electronic health student screenings and communicable disease prevention students families and staff on infection control relevant medical information to teachers and in field trips as needed (in line with DPH guidelines).Perform skilled nursing procedures safely and and organize medical equipment and duties as assigned by the School RN Director of Student Services Principal or School Nurse.
