Job Description Summary

The O&M North America Operations Leader is responsible for driving operational excellence and efficiency within the O&M team. This role involves overseeing site team performance developing and implementing effective staffing strategies and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to support our strategic priorities. This role will impact the teams ability to achieve service quality and timeliness of objectives. Further the role is subject to operating policy objectives. There is moderate autonomy within the role. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of leadership influencing analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Facilitates the North America O&M team operating rhythm and supports Global O&M team operating rhythm for all priorities including Safety Quality Delivery and Cost.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends opportunities and areas for improvement. Prepare and disseminate regular reports to support discussions and decisionmaking enabling datadriven actions to enhance operation efficiency reduce costs improve productivity and increase operational availability.
  • Maintain the global staffing model for all services sites/hubs in support of O&M goals including faster Response time RTS time and crew efficiency
  • Resource analysis and pain point resolution around parts paper and people; Parts includes piece parts components tooling and equipment; Paper includes work instructions playbooks service notices or any other form of guidance needed to execute work; People includes Safety behaviors KSAs training compliance productivity availability and other challenges that could delay teams in executing work.

  • Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
  • Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational product management manufacturing technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements risk and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering business management or related discipline from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Operations and Maintenance).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with 5 years of business operations and analysis experience.
  • Ability and willingness to travel across North America up to 25 of the time.

The base pay range for this position is $119600...00

USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation of 15. This posting is expected to close no earlier than March 30th 2025.
