- Schedule:Varies 6a6p or 6p6a with rotating weekends and holdiays. Oncall required. This role will float to St. Marys Hospital Kankakee as needed.

The Hemodialysis Technician is an unlicensed health care provider responsible for assisting the Registered Nurse in the care of patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment within scope of practice. Responsibilities include maintenance and disinfection of dialysis equipment ordering and stocking supplies necessary for in patient dialysis treatment. Monitoring and cleaning supply area as well as other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE TRAINING
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. One year of hemodialysis experience preferred.
4. Hemodialysis Technician Certification or equivalent training.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role which includes estimated wages benefits and other forms of compensation is $16.87 to $24.44. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire in which a wide range of factors will be considered including but not limited to skillset years of applicable experience education credentials and licensure.
