Job Description
Intermediate District 287 is looking for a School Social Worker for an opening at West Education Center in Minnetonka MN!
Intermediate District 287 serves students in grades K12 as well as transition age students 1822 years old) from our 12 member districts in the west metro area. Our district offers a wide range of services and specialized programs primarily focused on setting IV special education that is designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. Salary & Benefits:
- Salary is based on Local 2209 Salary Schedule A: $48819 $96833 (depending on experience and education)

Requirements:
- Interested in candidates who are: diverse bilingual or have experience working with diverse populations.
- Experience with at risk students with behavioral mental health and/or chemical health needs.
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) from an accredited college or university.
- Must be licensed in MN by the Board of Social Work.
- Current Tier 3 or Tier 4 license as a School Social Worker issued by the Professional Educator Licensing Standards Board (PELSB) or eligible to receive license.
Interview Process:
- Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis until position is filled.
