We provide organizations with building block web services that allow them to innovate faster and operate their software more costeffectively. These servicesinthecloud include ondemand compute capacity storage content delivery querying of structured data message queuing and more.
The AWS Identity & Access team is building and delivering the next generation of cloud computing security that supports public AWS offerings like S3 EC2 and CloudFront. We are innovating new ways of building massively scalable distributed security systems involving identity management federation web services security single signon and much more. We enable our customers to control some of the most sensitive secrets on the Internet.
A successful ACE Engineer does much more than plug computers together and track changes. They are instrumental in deploying operating and scaling a massive alwayson distributed system that is core to all of AWS. We are looking for a experienced and motivated engineer to join our energetic fastmoving and passionate team.
This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position further requires that after start the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

Cloud or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner) or Associates degree
5 years Linux systems administration experience
5 years technical troubleshooting / support experience
5 years of networking experience (TCP/IP)
Current active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
Comptia Security
In lieu of above relevant work experience a degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $139500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
