About the role:
Our CIO is seeking a content creator to join our core IT team. This will be a contract role for an initial three months with the possibility of extension. It will be a remote position ideal for someone in the UK or the US.
Required skills and capabilities:
Core Technical Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail for formatting grammar and style consistency
- Proficiency with document editing tools (Google Docs Word PowerPoint)
- Experience with content management systems (Confluence
- Familiarity with markup languages (HTML Markdown Confluence macros)
- Basic quality assurance for content accuracy and functionality
Its a bonus if you have the following:
Specialised Knowledge:
- Scientific bench experience (wet lab biomedical chemistry)
- Familiarity with LIMS ELN or medical diagnostic software
- Understanding of technical documentation structure
- Teaching or educational experience (STEM focus preferred)
- LMS experience (Seismic/Lessonly or similar platforms)
Additional Valuable skills:
- Video editing basics
- Slide design principles
- Basic instructional design awareness
- Understanding of accessibility guidelines
- Collaboration and effective teamwork
