Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role you will have the opportunity to build robust scalable systems capable of handling large volumes of data while delivering nearrealtime capabilities. You will work closely with a team of experts contribute to designing reusable modules and ensure the delivery of highquality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable robust systems that process vast amounts of data efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with the team to build expertise in backend frameworks and adhere to best design practices.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from concept to delivery ensuring highquality outcomes.
- Develop reusable modules to enhance the teams efficiency and project speed.
- Work on middleware layers of enterprise systems and cloud platform development.
Qualifications:
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in engineering or a scientific discipline.
- 36 years of experience in cloud platform development middleware systems or managing highvolume data.
- Proficiency in at least one backend/systems programming language (e.g. Java Python) and one scripting language.
- Strong knowledge of database concepts and expertise in at least one SQL (MySQL Postgres Oracle) or NoSQL (MongoDB Cassandra) database.
- Experience with cloud development platforms such as AWS or GCP.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with frameworks like SpringBoot Play DropWizard Django or Flask.
- Knowledge of caching tools (Redis Hazelcast) and message queues (RabbitMQ Kafka).
- Understanding of frontend technologies (JavaScript is a plus.
- Knowledge on data visualisation tool (tableauPowerBI) and python libraries(PandasNumpyMatplotlib)
