Service Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and excellent customer service skills. They will be responsible for providing timely and effective support to our clients.
Job Description
The Service Engineer is responsible for the troubleshooting repair and maintenance of our products. This includes onsite visits remote diagnostics and providing technical support to customers.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with customer equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone email or inperson.
- Document all service calls and maintenance activities accurately.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of parts and equipment.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when necessary.
- Maintain a positive and professional image of the company when interacting with clients.
- Report on service issues and trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. Engineering Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a technical service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
