Job Description
The Shop Keeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized retail environment ensuring smooth customer service and assisting in the efficient operation of the shop. This role requires strong customer service skills organizational abilities and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
* Maintaining store cleanliness and organization including stocking shelves handling inventory and cleaning displays.
* Handling cash transactions processing payments and managing store funds.
* Providing excellent customer service assisting customers with product selection answering questions and resolving issues.
* Monitoring security within the store and alerting staff or authorities to any suspicious activity.
* Preparing products for sale organizing merchandise and adhering to company standards.
* Assisting with general shop maintenance and repairs such as restocking cleaning and minor repairs.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Prior experience in a retail environment or customer service role is preferred.
* Ability to handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
