Essential Functions
Assists the Managers and or the Chef in necessary activities needed in the coffee shop service operations and educational program courses. Maintain a clean organized and sanitary facility as an example for the Culinary/Hospitality program students and guests. Keep all equipment clean and well-maintained. Wash and Sanitize: Washes and sanitizes dishes cooking utensils and food service equipment practicing safe and sanitary methods. Replaces equipment in the proper area. Make sure the coffee shop is properly set up for service. Supporting and maintaining the standards of the Culinary/Hospitality program and the Great Plains Culinary Institute and the Course Ground Coffee shop. Promote a Culture of Belonging Support and promote an environment of belonging where all students faculty members and college employees feel welcomed valued and empowered to contribute. Foster a community where each individual and their varied perspectives enrich the educational experience and create a safe and respectful environment. Support the Colleges policies and programming related to access fair employment and equal opportunities for all.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED . Lancaster County Food Handlers Permit by the first day of employment.
