Job Description
Do you have an eye for detail and cleanliness and enjoy being around people If so the Y is looking for you! This is a fulltime position at R.W. Houser Family YMCA in Onalaska.
Schedule: Monday Friday 1:30 pm 10:00 pm
Responsibilities:
- Perform housekeeping duties as assigned to ensure the cleanliness of the facility including areas such as the lobby locker rooms/bathrooms wellness center gymnasiums gymnastics studio etc.
- Collect wash and dry towels used by members for cleaning exercise equipment.
- Provide excellent service to all members staff and guests
- Ability to read and interpret instructions procedures manuals etc.
Requirements
- Possess a positive attitude and good communication skills
- Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours at a time
- Ability to move tables and chairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to address and make solid decisions in emergency situations
- Knowledge of operating cleaning equipment cleaning & sanitation products
