Job Description
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and guestfocused Duty Manager to join a luxury lodge based in Cape Town. This position is ideal for a hospitality professional with a strong operational background and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service in a highend environment. The successful candidate will mainly cover the 15h00 23h00 shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily lodge operations and ensure smooth guest experiences
Act as the main point of contact for guests during their stay
Support all departments to maintain high service standards
Manage checkins checkouts and guestrelated requests
Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Ensure all health safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to
Assist with training and supervision of staff where necessary
Report to senior management and provide regular operational updates
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within the luxury hospitality sector
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent guest relations abilities
Wellorganised and capable of multitasking under pressure
High attention to detail and problemsolving skills
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
Proficiency in property management systems is an advantage
