Job Description
23 months contract with a local authority
Job Purpose
- This role will lead overall business management and administration of the Placemaking & Community Development providing essential support and promoting best practices across various functions. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations and highquality support for the Head of Inclusive Economy and various service delivery teams including Business Engagement Local Economy Haringey Learns and Haringey Works; and for the Head of Placemaking on exciting placemaking initiatives in Tottenham and Wood Green.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- The role will require the successful candidate to manage and maintain efficient business processes and will require collaborating with business partners and enabling services to ensure effective delivery of the Inclusive Economy Service Plan.
- Highquality stakeholder engagement skills are crucial as you will oversee and coordinate communication with members senior officers and external funders
- You will promote and deliver best practice in financial and project management and service key directorate boards to ensure programme outcomes are achieved in alignment with corporate objectives.
Essential Experience Required
- Experience of working in financial administration role is essential.
- Experience in change management project management and business analysis is essential.
- Experience to manage and organise a wide range of financial administration functions and high degree of numeracy is essential.
Essential Qualification Required
- Degree or relevant professional qualification is essential.
Additional information to note
- Working hours: 36 hours per week
- The role is hybrid with a minimum of 1 day in office up to a potential of 3 days based on daytoday requirements e.g. inperson meetings

This role will lead overall business management and administration of the Placemaking & Community Development, providing essential support and promoting best practices across various functions. Healthy Adults leadership in the healthy adult portfolio including strategic commissioning of sexual health, tobacco, weight management and health checks and strategic public health leadership around long terms condition prevention, mental health, tobacco control, sexual health and substance misuse.
