The School of Nursing in the Bouv College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University has developed a researchintensive/teaching/learning environment for students and faculty. The School of Nursing faculty are a committed group of professionals who are highly qualified nationally known and characterized by a range of experiences in nursing practice research and education. The ultimate goal is to advance the School of Nursings position to one of the nations top research schools of nursing.

About the Opportunity
The School of Nursing invites applications for fulltime Open Rank NonTenure Track Professor positions with anticipatedstart date in July 2025 or until the position is filled.
The candidate will have demonstrated teaching excellence and commitment to supporting faculty staff and student environments. The candidate should possess a terminal degree in Nursing or related field or matriculate into a terminal degree program before or immediately following appointment.
We welcome candidates with interdisciplinary expertise who is capable of leading and collaborating with researchers at Bouv and across Northeastern University.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses engaging in scholarship and participating in departmental college and university service. Qualified candidates must have expertise in or a demonstrated commitment to working with diverse student populations and/or in a culturally diverse work and educational environment. Specific expertise of interest include:
- Simulation Curricular Design and Instruction
- Pathopharmocology
- Programmatic Quality and Compliance
- Prelicensure Clinical Placements
Qualifications
- Terminal degree in Nursing or related field by appointment start date.
- Evidence of an established area of research and scholarship teaching excellence and demonstrated excellence and commitment to supporting faculty staff and student environments.
- Preference for the eligibility for RN licensure in Massachusetts

Pay Range:
Assistant Clinical Professor: $100000.00 $166000.00 Associate Clinical Professor: $121000.00 $155000.00 Clinical Professor: $141000.00 $235000.00With the pay range(s) shown above the starting salary will depend on several factors which may include your education experience location knowledge and expertise and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarlysituated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
