Job Description

As an Executive Assistant you will be responsible for a wide range of critical activities including complex calendar management tracking key deliverables coordinating travel and expenses and organizing team activities and events (such as allteam meetings and employee engagement activities). Other responsibilities include but are not limited to coordinating meeting agendas space planning and ad hoc project coordination. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important. In this role youll have the opportunity to act as an extension of our leaders in partnership with a supportive and collaborative EA community.

Working in a highly ambiguous environment you will complete tasks and projects quickly and take effective action without having to know the total picture. You will apply a superior attention to detail great organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple critical requests while maintaining flexibility a sense of humor and most importantly grace under pressure. You will understand business priorities demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements to build capacity for the leaders and their teams. Over time you will build deep and trusting professional relationships with the leaders and their teams which will blossom into strong partnerships that provide opportunity for special projects with increased responsibility and longterm career growth.

Key job responsibilities
Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events activities and calendars
Management of complex calendars scheduling requirements and prioritization of executives tasks and appointments according to their importance urgency and relevance
Act as a liaison for direct reports business stakeholders and partners
Travel coordination (international and domestic)
Participate in planning of events and drive key team activities (staff meetings allteam meetings AMAs)
Work alongside other executive assistants within the org and throughout AWS Solutions to drive best practices and cross collaboration of efficiencies
Expense reimbursement including report coordination submission and issue tracking

A day in the life
Every day is different but a typical day will involve managing a high volume of email working with other Executive Assistants to schedule complex meetings and partnering closely with executives and their business partners on projects and initiatives.

Please note this is an inoffice position requiring 5 days onsite on Amazons SLU Campus; remote work is not currently supported.

3 years of senior level leadership support or 1 years of Amazon experience
Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
Experience with executive level calendar management

Experience in a fastpaced hightech company
Experience managing multiple calendars
Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
Experience with domestic or international travel coordination

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
