As a Website Designer Intern with a focus on scientific research writing and publication at Aristocrat you will have the opportunity to work with industry pioneers and be at the forefront of innovation in the modern AI and datadriven IT/informatics field on a global scale. In this role you will play a vital role in driving change by designing and developing visually appealing and userfriendly websites that showcase scientific research and facilitate knowledge dissemination. You will collaborate closely with researchers authors and IT teams to create engaging online platforms that effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to a diverse audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Design and Development: Design and develop visually appealing intuitive and responsive websites that showcase scientific research and publications.
- User Experience (UX) Design: Create usercentric website designs that ensure a seamless and engaging browsing experience for visitors.
- Content Organization: Structure and organize scientific content on websites in a logical and accessible manner making it easy for users to find and navigate through the information.
- Visual Design: Create visually compelling graphics icons and imagery that enhance the visual appeal of the websites and effectively represent scientific concepts.
- FrontEnd Development: Implement website designs using HTML CSS JavaScript and other relevant technologies to ensure functionality and interactivity.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with authors researchers and IT teams maintaining effective communication and ensuring alignment throughout the website design and development process.
- Responsive Design: Optimize websites for different devices and screen sizes ensuring a seamless user experience across desktop mobile and tablet platforms.
- Performance Optimization: Implement best practices for website performance optimization including optimizing page load times and minimizing file sizes.
- Website Maintenance: Assist in the ongoing maintenance and updates of websites ensuring content accuracy and addressing any technical issues that may arise.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors or Masters degree in Web Design Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in website design and development tools and technologies including HTML CSS JavaScript and content management systems (e.g. WordPress Drupal etc..
- Strong visual design skills with an eye for aesthetics and the ability to create visually appealing and engaging website layouts.
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles and best practices to create intuitive and userfriendly website interfaces.
- Familiarity with scientific research methodologies terminology and publication practices to effectively represent scientific concepts through website design.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and the ability to create websites that adapt seamlessly to different devices and screen sizes.
- Collaboration and teamwork abilities to work effectively with authors researchers and IT teams.
- Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills to address technical issues and ensure website functionality.
- Excellent attention to detail ensuring accuracy and consistency in website design and content organization.
- Knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) principles and techniques is a plus.
- Passion for innovation and staying uptodate with the latest trends and advancements in web design and development.
