Location/Division Specific Information:

Grand Island NY USA. BioProduction Group.

The scheduled shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday 1st Shift 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

How Will You Make an Impact:

Lead the production of dry powder and liquid media for life science applications. Guide and manage a team of technicians to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Prioritize safety quality and production standards for site success.

A Day in the Life:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the manufacturing team.
  • Adhere to established protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment and ensure consistent product quality.
  • Collaborate and work with diverse teams to support manufacturing.
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics to ensure process integrity and identify any deviations.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiency.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Address any productionrelated issues promptly and effectively.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is preferred.

Experience:

Manufacturing Supervisor

  • Required: Minimum of 4 years of work experience in a manufacturing operations production lab setting or related field
  • Preferred: Previous supervisory or leadership experience and experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge Skills Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to follow complex instructions and detail accurately for safety and quality.
  • Familiarity with complex manufacturing processes and adept at implementing practical process improvements.
  • Proficiency in coordinating completing and training others effectively to accomplish departments processes.
  • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Capable of lifting moving up to 50 pounds standing for extended periods squatting bending and reaching during tasks.

Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including uniform steeltoe shoes hair net beard guard (if necessary) safety glasses and gloves. Additional PPE such as bump cap face shield and respirator may also be necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $72000.00$108000.00.
