Your role and impact:

The People & Diversity Business Partner serves as a consultant and strategic partner to both employees and management ensuring that HR initiatives are aligned with business objectives. Reporting to the People & Diversity Lead you will collaborate with various departments to provide guidance and support in all areas of HR including but not limited to employee relations performance management compensation and organisational development.

As a People & Diversity Business Partner your core responsibilities include:

• Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that support the companys goals and objectives.
• Employee Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues providing guidance counselling and conflict resolutions to support employees and managers.
• Traineeships: Mentor trainees providing support and career advice answering questions and offering guidance on how to succeed within the company. This mentorship helps foster a positive supportive experience for our trainees.
• Performance Management: Implement performance management processes including goal setting performance reviews and development planning to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
• Compensation and Benefits: Assist in the development and administration of compensation and benefits program to ensure competitiveness and compliance with legal requirements.
• HR Policy and Compliance: Interpret and enforce company policies and procedures ensuring compliance with federal state and local regulations.
• Organisational Development: Facilitate organisational change initiatives such as restructuring mergers and acquisitions to support business growth and development.
• HR Metrics and Reporting: Collect and analyse HR data to identify trends measure the effectiveness of HR programs and provide insight to support decisionmaking.

Essential Selection Criteria:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resource or a related field
• Extensive HR Advisory experience
• Strong understanding of HR best practices Australian employment laws and regulations
• Excellent communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Experience working with a multipleHRIS systems

Desirable Selection Criteria:

• This role would suit someone who is currently in an Advisory role looking for an opportunity to move into a Business Partner role
• Experience working with people with disability
