We are looking for a Sr. Manager to lead the product strategy development launch and ongoing for new applications. In this position you will play a pivotal role defining product requirements setting the gotomarket strategy and tirelessly championing the needs of our customers. Given the breadth of these new solutions this role will require coordination across many internal and external teams and will be visible at the highest levels of the company. Youll lead a team that works with our customers partners software vendors and operational stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features and spearhead the definition of new capabilities through expertly crafted business requirements documents.
A day in the life
Every day will bring new and exciting challenges on the job while you:
Define highquality roadmaps based on your strategy and vision
Develop detailed crisp business narratives and user stories that can be used to create capacity strategies product specifications and new features
Work closely with sales teams solution architects business development and engineering teams to solve complex product and pricing issues
Manage prioritization and tradeoffs between customer experience performance and operational support load
Can dive into technical details and ask engineers insightful questions about the services and dependencies you influence

10 years of working as a Manager of Technical Product Management
7 years of technical (software development network development IT other related) experience
Experience delivering largescale SaaS PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle from concept through GTM
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives
Verbal and written communications skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences
Analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions
MBA
MS in Computer Science / Engineering / Mathematics
Experience talking with developers in their own language to come to the best solution from the beginning (hobby or professional coding experience in any language)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $179300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $309900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
