SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley is seeking personnel for our growing Site Crews in Dagsboro DE. Positions include site foreman equipment operatorand general labor. Successful candidates should possess a willingness to learn have a good work ethic and a positive attitude.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
GENERAL LABORER
- Assist in backfilling and running compaction equipment.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards.
- Use various hand and power tools.
- Assist with the removal of finegrade stones along curb lines and sidewalks.
- Take and understand instructions from crew leaders.
EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
- Operate equipment in compliance with Kinsleys safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure company equipment is maintained and in good running condition by greasing and checking fluids.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of all aspects of construction.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.
SITE FOREMAN
- Effectively lead manage and motivate crews of 5 to 10 individuals.
- Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors
- Interpret blueprints project plans and specifications.
- Responsible for the production process
- Plan and schedule for necessary manpower tools materials and equipment to complete the job.
- Responsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logs.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 5 years of field leadership experience is required for the foreman position.
- Possess a knowledge of GPS systems.
- Ability to follow and enforce all correct safety procedures.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience is required for the equipment operator position.
- Ability to work in a crewbased and fastpaced environment.
- Must be punctual and dependable.
- Must be comfortable performing various manual tasks for extended periods sometimes in unfavorable weather conditions.
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms legs and movement of the whole body such as climbing lifting balancing walking and handling materials.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
- Ability to pass DOT preemployment physical and drug/alcohol screening.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
