YSS is looking for a creative collaborative and compassionate Ember Residential Managerfor our newlyopened Ember Recovery Campus. An inpatient addiction treatment program Ember offers traumainformed services to adolescents and young adults including residential care mental health support crisis stabilization and shelter services.
The Manager will assist with daily management of the Ember program establishing a safe stable and supportive space for youth in crisis. This includes direct supervision of multiple employees promotion of the program and ensuring that the program is in compliance with required licensure contract grant and accreditation standards. Other duties include:
- Supervision / Scheduling
- Directly supervises trains supports and develops multiple staffincluding the Operations Coordinator as well as Day/OvernightRecovery Specialists and Recovery Leads
- Hiring evaluating reprimanding and changing of job status are done with collaboration/approval of the Campus Director.
- Establishes and manages schedule to ensure ratio and staffing patterns are appropriate for the needs of the facility.
- Participates in the Supervisory Oncall Rotation.
- Facilities
- Observes and instructs clients as to fire and health regulations. Carries out fire/tornado drills on a monthly basis.
- Fills out work orders as needed.
- Ensures there is a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
- Administration
- Observes all federal and state confidentiality and privacy regulations as well as all state licensurecertification and accreditation requirements.
- Ensures client files contain all needed and required documents etc.
- Responsible for oversight of client documentation group notes and reviewing Incident Reports within the required timeframes.
- Reviews budget as necessary and manages receipts and purchase cards as assigned.
- Manage all program related expenses and documentation
- Medical/Clinical
- Coordinates and partners with medical and clinical teams for best in practice service.
- Communicates between prescribing professionals and pharmacy to ensure prescriptions are filled accurately and that payment is secured.
- Review all medication documentations are accurate and follows up when there are errors.
- Ensures all medications are stored properly and appropriately destroys all discontinued medications.
