Job Description Summary
The purpose of this arrangement will be to provide after hours oncall coverage for the Department of Pediatrics/Division of Child Abuse Pediatrics (CAP) as a Pediatric Sexual Nurse Examiner (PSANE).

The PSANE RN provides timely and compassionate care to pediatric and adolescent sexual victims. These responsibilities include triage forensic examination prophylaxis for pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases photographic documentation referrals for appropriate medical and psychological followup and support and participation in legal proceedings. The PSANE RN works under the direction of the PSANE Program Coordinator and follows established protocols.

Job Summary/Purpose:

Required Minimum Training and Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and one year related nursing experience. Pediatric experience preferred. Licensure as RN by the South Carolina Board of Nursing.

Required Licensure Certifications Registrations: Current South Carolina RN License and BLS required.
