The Center Manager is responsible for managing all operational aspects for specified GVHC sites to achieve optimum access to services excellent customer service quality cost and delivery performance in line with GVHC Mission strategic goals and values. Provide support and direction to enhance performance skills and knowledge of practice staff.
Will support our Turlock Pediatrics Clinic.
Schedule is Monday Saturday 8:00am 5:00pm Flexibility in schedule required.
Compensation: $69908.80 - $73404.24 Annual Salary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Supports implements and fosters a greater staff understanding of the Mission Vision and Values of Golden Valley Health Centers.
- Coordinates and manages the operations of assigned GVHC sites including front office clinical records health promotions and back office clinical functions to create an efficient patient centered care environment.
- Work in collaboration with clinical leadership and center clinical providers in the development implementation and evaluation of healthcare services.
- Achieve access and profitability objectives
- Provide direct supervision to clinical support staff in collaboration with the DON and nursing leadership to ensure quality and staff competencies.
- Integrate the philosophy and principles of Patient Centered Care and the GVHC CARE communication skills in all operational functions
- Leads employees to accomplish all job objectives; inspires confidence and motivation; clearly defines expectations and maintains personal effectiveness under pressure.
- Works collaboratively with the HIT Program Manager and DON to ensure maximum utilization of all HIT programs
- Utilize data to drive efficiency quality improvement and staff empowerment.
- In collaboration with CFO and DOO develops monitors and analyzes site budgets and financial information and utilizes all resources in an effective and economical manner
- Support a culture of transparency through the development sharing and on-going updating of site data dashboards and reports with site staff.
- Promote support and participate in the development of quality improvement initiatives.
- Conducts audits works with auditing agencies and provides feedback to reduce errors and improve processes quality and performance.
- Performs employee evaluations and consultations for staff; Completes ADP timesheets reviews requests for time off makes necessary staffing adjustments in accordance to GVHC policies.
- Tracks time off requests in order to assist in adequately staffed clinic site(s) and communicates with other sites supervisors and any other necessary GVHC employees regarding absences or schedule changes.
- Participate in the selection training and supervision of all clinic staff to ensure patient centered principles drive the hiring on boarding and training processes.
- Identifies implements and maintains opportunities to build employee morale and individual motivation; ensures each employee understands their role the desired result associated with their work and the resources available to achieve these results
- Works closely with supervisors and other management personnel to ensure adherence to standards policies and procedures
- Oversees the ordering and inventory processes for all site supplies
- Responsible for maintaining a clean safe and welcoming facility
- Attends meetings as designated and other duties as assigned
- Work closely with the communication task force and communication trainers to ensure communication and customer care is of the highest quality and meets or exceeds organizational goals.
- Follow all safety rules while on the job. Reports accidents promptly and corrects minor safety hazards.

Min. Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE OF: Knowledge of ambulatory care CPT/ICD- 9 coding procedures and be familiar with Medi-Cal Medicare and commercial insurance billing procedures.
SKILLS: Excellent social skills professional demeanor and leadership; Ability to proceed on own initiative using independent judgment and discretion; Proficient in MS Word & Excel
ABILITY TO: Motivate others; Work with minimal supervision meet deadlines and prioritize tasks; effectively interacts with operational and clinical personnel; collects correlates analyzes data elements develops plans manages work and is able to problem solve.
Physical Demands
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
Education/Experience Requirements
- HS/GED with a minimum of three (3) years of ambulatory experience showing progressive responsibilities.
- Supervisory experience in an ambulatory care setting knowledge of EHR excellent customer service skills demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with co-workers supervisors and leaders.
- Valid CDL and vehicle insurance.
- Travel to multiple sites is required.
