Job Description
Job Summary: This posting is for two medical assisting classes preparing students to become medical assistants. Both classes can be cotaught.
1. Parttime evening program teaching MTh from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. PT Course will run approximately 7 months.
2. Daytime course MTh that will run from 8:30 a.m. 4 p.m. and will run approximately 5 months.
Minimum Qualifications:
5 years of medical assistant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Hiring Range:Varies
Preferred Qualifications: 1year teaching experience
Possess a nationallyrecognized medical assistant certification
Job Type: PartTime (less than 1000 hours)
If part time hours per week: 5:30 PM 9:30 PM or MondayThursday 8:30 AM 4 PM
Equipment Requirements for part time casual adjunct and instructor positions:
It is HACCs expectation that candidates selected for this role will provide their own technology equipment.
Your own computer (Windows Linux or Macintosh desktop or laptop) with current web browser installed (Firefox Edge Safari Chrome) to broadband internet connection at all times during employment (DSL 4G/LTE FIOS Satellite or Cable/Xfinity/Comcast which enables you to communicate synchronously during meetings and other events such as USB Headset speaker and microphone captioning services adaptive technology assistive devices etc.
