Job Title: Paraprofessional Title 1
Building/Department:Hoppin Elementary
Reports to: Building Principal
Summary:
Under Title I funding this role provides academic support and instructional assistance to K5 students working under the direct supervision of a highly qualified teacher. The primary purpose is to enhance student learning and support the educational goals of the school district.

Frequent bending kneeling crouching and reaching to access materials assist students or move furniture. Regularly required to move around the classroom to provide individualized attention and monitor student behavior. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.

The work environment is fastpaced collaborative and requires a high degree of flexibility. You will be working in a classroom setting alongside a teacher with students of varying ages and abilities.

FLSA Status:
