Job Description

train and supervise security officers and guards

Ensures schedules are properly maintained in WinTeam and are updated regularly

Ensures all positions are staffed according to contract requirements and effectively manages account overtime through proper scheduling and staffing. Maintains a qualified sufficient pool of rovers for back fill of vacant positions as needed

Maintains and publishes weekly Open Post List and interacts with HR and recruiters to fill posts with qualified licensed security officers

Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs

Review reports on incidents and breaches

Investigate and resolve issues

Reports to Account Manager through the District Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior security industry and/or military experience preferred. College degree or coursework desirable
Minimum 1 year of professionallevel experience required managing nonexempt employees in a fastpaced service organization. Prior experience in the security industry law enforcement military and/or customer service highly desired. Experience in scheduling operations and/or employee management in a servicerelated industry a significant plus
Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
Ability to write effective and concise reports
Demonstrated working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office software mandatory. Ability to learn and efficiently operate various timekeeping and payroll programs such as WinTeam and eHub
Proven experience as supervisor or similar position
Must be able to work nights and weekends
Ability to successfully interact with all levels in the organization including with Security Professionals managers and clients in a courteous and professional manner while functioning as a team player. Must demonstrate an effective ability to deescalate situations before they become hostile or unpleasant
Professional articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required. Must be able to read write and speak English in a clear concise manner
