You will contribute to the definition development integration test documentation and support of Kindle applications across multiple digital surfaces.
Key job responsibilities Significant autonomous contributor to the full software development lifecycle including scoping design code testing deployment and maintenance of your teams software. Deliver innovative and simple software solutions working with and improving on current limitations and compatibilities between subsystems building new concepts and methodology and the development of major routines and utilities. Define technical requirements and software design specifications as needed to meet business requirements. Partner with all stakeholders and your peers to understand the business and customer value of your teams software in order to ensure you deliver the right solutions Leverage best practices for software development and documentation to make sure designs meet requirements and we are able to deliver high quality software.

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience 2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
