Privacy Policy and Privacy Notice for California Residents located at Estate Paralegal Job Details:Snell & Wilmer one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the western United States is currently seekingafull time Paralegal to join its Real Estate practice group in our Phoenix office. Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years of relevant experience preferably in a large law firm.
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Closing Management:
Prepare checklists and oversee the full closing process for commercial real estate transactionsTitle & Survey Review:
Analyze title reports and surveys; resolve title issues and coordinate with title companiesDocument Drafting:
Draft CC&Rs homeowners association documents and subdivisionrelated materialsLicensing & Permits:
Handle applications for liquor tax and operating licensesTax & Regulatory Filings:
Prepare tax clearance bulk transfer exemption and reporting documentsDue Diligence:
Conduct due diligence for acquisitions sales and financings in both commercial and residential real estateSearch & Analysis:
Order review and summarize UCC lien tax and judgment searchesLegal Filings:
Draft and file legal documents including deeds mortgages leases and UCC filingsPostClosing Support:
Assemble and distribute closing binders; manage postclosing documentation and followupsExperience and Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree and paralegal certificate from ABAaccredited paralegal training program or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal within a real estate practice group or equivalent experience
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignment while delivering consistent quality workproduct to both attorneys and clients
- Strong attention to detail and ability to selfstart
- Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision and to seek help when needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
