Project Coordinator Highway Maintenance
Location: Grande Prairie Alberta
Ledcor is hiring a Project Coordinator to support our Highway Maintenance team in Grande Prairie. This is a handson sitelevel role ideal for those seeking to build a career in construction supervision and operations management.
As a Project Coordinator youll work under the guidance of experienced supervisors and contribute to the successful delivery of highway maintenance and construction projects. Youll gain exposure to all aspects of operations including quality control estimating contract administration crew management equipment operations and more.
This role is designed as a steppingstone toward becoming a frontline supervisor.

Responsibilities
- Knowledge of office processes: subcontract management; change orders; RFIs (request for information); estimates & purchase orders
- Learn technical and operational aspects of highway maintenance
- Support safe and efficient work practices; promote a positive safety culture
- Conduct quality inspections audits and materials testing
- Analyze operational data (e.g. storm response patrols drainage vegetation)
- Build relationships influence key stakeholders and proactively participate in discussions
- Manage quality documentation procurement tasks and project reporting
Qualifications
- 3 years of related experience in project coordination management or a combination of education and field exposure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; teamoriented and proactive
- Familiarity with construction documentation RFIs subcontracts and purchase orders
- A high level of proficiency in MS Word Excel and scheduling tools
- Flexibility to travel to other locations
- Successful completion of preemployment drug and alcohol testing
- Valid drivers license with clear 3year abstract
Work Conditions
- Monday to Friday schedule
- Travel required (up to 20 to other shop locations within Alberta
